Advanced Sommelier Jill Zimorski

University of Virginia graduate and Advanced Sommelier Jill Zimorski has been in the restaurant and wine business for more than a decade. She has worked at many restaurants such as Palette at the Madison Hotel in Washington D.C., Charlie Palmer Steak, Café Atlantico, Zaytinya, Oyamel, and Volt. At these restaurants, Jill’s resume includes working as Sommelier and Beverage Director, as well as Restaurant Manager. At Café Atlantic, she developed her own cocktail program that was named one of the most innovative in the country by the New York Times. Recently she worked as Wine Director at Alinea in Chicago, IL. In 2015, Jill was named one of the “Top 10 Buzz-worthy Sommeliers in Chicago” by chicagoist.com. Jill’s nationally respected reputation stems from her dedication to making her guests feel good about their own wine experiences. Jill now works in an education-focused role teaching and tasting the greater Chicago area about and on the Champagnes in the Moet Hennessy Champagne portfolio: Krug, Ruinart, Dom Perignon, Veuve Clicquot and Moet & Chandon. Most recently, Jill was recognized by Wine Enthusiast Magazine as one of the “Top 40 under 40 taste makers 2016.”
