Advanced Sommelier Luke Boland
Luke Boland is a young Sommelier currently living in Manhattan. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 2010, he changed the focus of his studies from culinary arts to the world of wine. Luke worked at a couple of restaurants before finding his way in the Batali and Bastianich restaurant group at Eataly where he was quickly moved to Del Posto thanks to his hard work. Luke has worked at Del Posto for two years now and loved the combination of warmth in the dining room with a fine dining atmosphere. While at Del Posto, Luke recently passed his Advanced Sommelier exam through the Court of Master Sommeliers in early September 2014. He aspires to study with his current wine director, Jeff Porter, to pursue the Masters Diploma.
