Head to the Long Center the last Tuesday of the month for trailer treats from Regal Ravioli, Coolhaus and more, plus live music and beer (June 24, July 29 and August 26, 5-9 PM, free, 701 W. Riverside Dr.).

Antonelli’s Cheers! to Cheese Series

Local hot spots pair cheese with a variety of boozy beverages, including cocktails at qui, French wine at Arro, and beer at The ABGB. (Check the calendar for dates, prices and locations).


Negroni Week

Drink for a good cause: order the infamous cocktail at bars around town (Half Step, the Tigress, Searsucker, Drink.Well and more) to benefit local charities, including SXSW Cares and Austin Pets Alive (June 2-8, various locations and prices).

Citywide 86’d Finale

Join Austin’s best and brightest young chefs for a local version of Chopped, where chefs from Barley Swine, Searsucker, Uchi and Uchiko will battle it out. Edible Austin’s Sipping Social

Party like it’s Prohibition (with booze, natch) at the annual event, which boasts vintage costumes, live jazz, and sips and eats from local purveyors like Treaty Oak Distilling Co. and Salt & Time. Taste North Austin

The Domain proves it’s just as hip as the rest of Austin with a one-day festival of treats from North, Austin Cake Ball and more (June 24, 11 AM-4 PM, $20 for a wristband of 10 tastes, $30 for VIP, 11410 Century Oaks Terrace).

The Big Chill

Dress up and join the Austin Food Bloggers Alliance at the Bob Bullock State History Museum for an elegant cocktail party and silent auction for food lovers. Proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels and More. Buy tickets here (June 26, 6-9 PM, $65, 1800 N. Congress Ave.).


Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival

Beat the heat by joining it with hundreds of spicy salsas and hot sauces from local restaurants and individuals, plus margaritas and beer (Aug. 24, 11 AM, free with a donation of $3 or three healthy nonperishable food items, Fiesta Gardens, 2101 Jesse E. Segovia St.).
